Selection of silicon carbide rod models and specifications:

The silicon carbide rod model refers to the 3-segment rod, the 5-segment rod, the U-shaped rod, the H-shaped rod, and the gun-shaped rod. To put it simply, 5-segment rods should be used for occasions that require high homogeneity, and 3-segment rods should be used on the contrary; H-shaped rods or U-shaped rods are used when single-ended wiring is required; gun-shaped rods are used for the material bowl. The specification of silicon carbide rod refers to the diameter, the length of the heating element, the length of the cold end, the length of the bridge, the center distance, etc. For straight rods (3-segment rods and 5-segment rods), the length of the cold end depends on the thickness of the furnace wall; the length of the heating element must correspond to the width of the liquid tank, generally not less than the width of the liquid tank.

Connection of silicon carbide rods:

At present, all the silicon carbide rods on the electric heating feed channel are mostly connected in parallel, and then connected to the transformer for the second time. This is the most scientific and reasonable connection method, which is conducive to the uniform load sharing of the silicon carbide rods. Some manufacturers use two or three in series, which is unreasonable.
